What a journey it’s been so far for me at ODIN! Before I joined the January 2017 ROOTS class, I was a run on the treadmill for 20 minutes and do a few sit-ups in the corner kind of workout person. It’s not that I particularly liked this- I just didn’t know what else to do. So, with that being my regime, I was admittedly a little intimidated at the thought of crossfit- particularly of lifting weights and lifting them with other people watching me (I used to practice a strict “don’t look at me, don’t talk to me, I’m not even here” approach when I went to the gym). But I’m so happy to say that has since drastically changed.
I can’t stress enough how helpful the ROOTS class was in introducing me to the crossfit movements. Unlike working out at other gyms, I never once felt dumb or embarrassed trying these new movements. Starting from the first day in ROOTS, the coaches have constantly reminded me how important safety is, which was really comforting knowing that they have your back and aren’t going to sit by idly if you are doing a movement wrong. Within a few classes, the coaches knew who I was and made a point to get to know me, my past experiences, what I wanted to accomplish, and help me figure out what weights and movements I should be doing during each workout. It felt really good not just being member #___ and actually feeling like I was a part of something.
And the people here- just genuinely good people. Since I joined ODIN, there has always been someone looking out for me. Whether that’s showing me the right way to do something when I’m doing it wrong, offering to help me figure out what weight I’m doing for the workout, or cheering me on through the workouts, there’s always been someone watching out for me. They’ve helped push me out of my comfort zone to do things I didn’t think I would be able to accomplish and have really made ODIN feel like a second home that I’m excited and motivated to come to.
So that’s just a snid bit of my journey so far here. It doesn’t even begin to cover all of the laughter, sweaty high-fives and fist bumps, after WOD beer chats, and so many other amazing experiences I’ve had since I joined, but you get the picture-I maybe kind of love it here at ODIN.  

I can’t say enough about Odin CrossFit! I have been a member for just over 2 years... and I (still) absolutely love coming to the gym everyday. Before I started, I had some preconceived ideas of what I thought CrossFit was. Even coming from a background of Ironman triathlons and other endurance events, I was a bit intimidated. My fears were completely unfounded and were put to rest the moment I walked into the gym. 
The Roots class helped me to establish a good foundation on which to build. It gave me an overview and a wonderful introduction to all of the movements and components of a CrossFit style workout. The class immediately put me at ease... answered all my questions and demystified CrossFit. 
The coaches are top notch! They are knowledgeable, approachable, motivating,  supportive and patient. They always give ample instruction and guidance before each workout.  Every workout is challenging, both mentally and physically... and also accessible to those of varying skill/fitness levels. It is an uplifting, positive and super fun experience to participate in a workout at Odin. 
Odin Crossfit is truly an amazing and transformative place. Not only have I become stronger and more fit... but I have also experienced gains in my confidence and determination.  Being a member has improved my overall health, wellbeing and quality of life. 
Odin’s impact on my life extends beyond the gym floor. I have met so many quality people here. I have made friends for life here. This community has become my extended family... my tribe. I honestly cannot imagine my life without Odin. 

It’s been almost a year since a joined Odin. The WODs will challenge you and push you to your limits and the Coaches are knowledgeable  and supportive and the camaraderie is the best I have ever seen in any gym environment. I’m almost 50 and I look forward to become stronger and fit- it’s never too late .I’m Glad to be part of the ODIN Family.

ODIN is hands down a league of its own. The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and ALWAYS willing to provide guidance and instruction. The facility is great, the classes are awesomely challenging but always scalable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
I joined in January of 2018, and just in this past year I progressed further in my fitness than I EVER have before. ODIN offers an environment that makes it fun to come workout, and adds a unique social aspect that ive not seen anywhere else. Plus, you don't have to come up with your own workouts! ;) Instead, you are coming to class surrounded by others who are ready to put in the work alongside you and cheer you on while doing so. 
Without meaning to sound clichè, when you become a member you are not only joining the ODIN CrossFit box, you are joining the ODIN family."

Odin has made a big change in my life. I’m the oldest member but it has made me much younger, both in attitude and physical health. I would love to spread the word to all those people who are merely satisfied with “Silver Sneakers.” This is so much more. There’s a huge variety of movements and the coaches are so willing to help me scale to my ability. The encouragement of all is great. I worked for IBM for 32 years, dealing with the government, so I knew computer people, government workers, and lawyers. Unlike in my previous life, I’ve met entrepreneurs, first responders, teachers, yoga instructors, chefs, nutritionists, social workers, doctors, well, you name it. So fun. I love these folks. Plus I’ve learned a lot about other stuff—issues with raising kids these days, social media’s pluses and minuses, tattoos (I still don’t quite understand that but I do appreciate the artwork), sports kids play, nutrition. To summarize—Odin is great, not just for exercise, but for my quality of life.

Before joining Odin I have struggled with self confidence and an eating disorder. Odin has given me this opportunity to change the way I think about lifting weights, exercising, and food. I have come so far and have built up so much confidence that I never thought I could have. I cannot thank Odin’s program and coaches enough for all that they have done for me.   

Odin is the place where you start your new journey into better lifestyle. Odin provides a top notch line of coaches, members, and programming. Being committed  to Odin, you will be rewarded with positive a life style, great community, and great programming that you will always feel the need to thrive. I hope I will see you there!

I joined Odin less that one year ago, and I already feel stronger than ever! At first, some of the moves seemed daunting and impossible, but with the help of Odin's dedicated and patient coaches, I feel like a beast! Odin's workouts leave room for improvement every day.
